Motion Detection
The Livemosaic system (version 1.0) uses pixelbased motion detection. The algorithm has been largely based on the MPEG block matching algorithm. The animation above shows the 'points of interest' in yellow. The Director Workflow System retrieves these points from the Motion Module and passes this information to the 3D-space Modules. Potential future work: object based motion detection using multiple camera's.
